let's get down to business

The other day I was scrolling through my board Favourite Places & Spaces and  noticed that I've been pinning office spaces with similar styles, consciously unbeknownst to me.

These images tell me a few things. A) I love Mac computers (or everyone else does). B) Neutral palettes with hints of colour through accessories and flowers make me swoon. C) A collage or cluster of framed photos above a desk is the most conducive for creative license.

Fall Porch Decor

Fall is just around the corner, and I am slightly obsessed with seasonal porch decorating. There's something so home-y and inviting about a wonderfully bright and textured entry to your home. The vibrant colours of fall make me want to snuggle up with a good book and a tea.

Here's what my friend and I did at my parent's house last year:
After browsing through the interwebs, however, I have an itch to try something new! Maybe something like this:

Or something artistic like this:
Or something rustic and country like this:
I'm feeling super inspired with all of these lovely photos. There are so many different ways to decorate your porch for fall, but they all leave me with warm and fuzzy feelings!

a pop of posies

These awe-inspiring lovelies are brought to you courtesy of Pinterest. Seriously, I know I keep talking about it, but it is ADDICTING! Love how all these images have flowers (some in a non-descript way), but they are all my focus is drawn to. Flowers complete a space if you ask me!

{1/2/3&4/5}

Feast on all the gorgeous images your eyes can handle with me on Pinterest! Have you recently used flowers to complete a space? And who would have thought that a stack of suitcases could make a surprisingly cute and chic bedside table?

In Bloom

Some random pictures of the seasonal blooms in my backyard ... this is why I love gardening!

I made this assorted pot for my sister's front porch.

Pots I made for our backyard.
Vibrant coleus

I love summer for the vibrant colours and the beauty of every single flower. In fact, I have a great idea for a post later this week- but you'll just have to wait and see! :) Have you done any gardening lately? Find any random/beautiful flowers? Do share!
